as some noticed version 7.1 has a slight increase in size compared to version 6.x, meaning it's now around 3.8mb (still a very small setup imo). anyway the main two reasons for this increase in size are:- we've added that start-up page because many users didn't know how to create pdf files by printing; this was possible only using a separate exe which alone is about 2.5mb (uncompressed)- to keep the compatibility for windows 2000 we had to distribute a dll that adds up for about 0.8mb tooon a different note, the newly released version (7.1) supports now silent installation parameters, a much requested feature (mainly among enterprise users).

clue: consider the rdc version number matching the highest version of windows the client supports.hank: your question is a bit confusing. does the video card support 32 bit color? if not, then you can't get it on rdc either.i wonder if this is why i couldn't use the xp rdc to connect to my vista rc box? hmm. more likely its blocked the port. >:(ms needs to add port-changing into the server and client. -1 point.

the idea is really good, the demo songs are also really nice, the way they do it to keep compatibility with regular mp3 decoders is well thought. frauenhofer stores the additional surround info in a 16kbit/s in sidechannels so a regular stereo downmix still works.but for using it now it is way too early...mp3surround doesnt know streaming audio, and is quite slow on moving the timeline slider forward, even for normal mp3s.@ stycks:using cmss is not real surround sound, it adds just some hall effects, this codec has real 5.1 surround sound. you can't compare those 2for instance play doom3 with cmss upmix without using 3d 5.1 audio and then play it again with 5.1 .... there are worlds between the two..just wait until good demo songs are made, those provided didn't really blow my mind & ears...i'm sure some trance ppl will make some space sounding trance song that uses all 5.1 chanels and then shows what this codec is capable of.

moodlogic was able to profile about half of my 6000 tracks, and seems very cool. the program also has an option to profile them myself, which takes about a minute per song. building playlists was allways something i hated, and i never took the time to fix my id3 tags, so this is perfect for me. i cant wait until their coverage expands!

i don't understand why it's not secure at all as the list you're talking about is based on signed files.did you ever install any malware digitally signed ?comodo worked on a software more friendly as lot of people were lost with all the alerts they had to create rules, alerts for the firewall, alerts for defense+, as they didnt know what to do with all those alerts.now, comodo can run with a limited number of rules to create for common users that hate all those complicated softwares with tones of settings and alerts.but what i like the best is that comodo is still configurable to have full control on the traffic with alerts for anything, so you create many rules for each process, or use predefined policies like "browser policy" or "ftp client" , "email client, outgoing only, trusted apps and blocked apps.the defense+ is a powerfull security tool to monitor all files activities and decide what a file will be allowed to do on the system.defense+ is protecting by default important files and folders, you can add your own files and folders rule, there's a default protected reg keys and you can also add your own keys you want to protect, there's a protected com interfaces also configurable like you want.and to help defense+ configuration, there's a sandbox where anything that's not part of trusted software vendors is launched sandboxed with a level of security you chose to run the file sandboxed. there are several levels of security from partially limited to blocked. setting blocked for unknown files is too high as the file cant run so just before blocked you have "untrusted files" that will launch the unknown file with not enough rights to corrupt your system.the files unrecognized will stay into the sandbox as long as you decide about it. if you know the file, so it's not a problem, sometimes comodo doesnt know all softwares, and the unrecognized files sandboxed stored into a specific place are submitted to the cloud so, they're analysed and if they're unknown, after some days, they'll be classified as trusted or not, even if you didnt install the av, you got the cloud that will inform you about the unrecognized file.this software is really great and needs to be tested, you can use the version with the av, but i like comodo for his firewall and defense+i use a shareware as antivirus to complete comodo.

@gatorfan95,masking as ie or ff does not mean that opera is using a different engine, it only has 1. what it does, with a little code, is simply identify itself as another browser when sites do their sniffing. browser sniffing is generally used by lazy coders who only test in 1 environment and in actuality has nothing to do with the performance of a browser, it's simply a query in the code.and as far as opera having such a tiny market share, just look at the top browser, which is ie, and tell me with a straight face that it's because it is the best. market share is just a reflection of marketing.now, as for this release, it's ok. it has made a lot of improvements from the 11 branch but has also added more issues which in the grand scheme of things means it is a better browser albeit flawed. as a photographer i am happy that they've finally included icc profiles, it's about time damn it. but an issue when cleaning private data that resets extension settings has me reverting back to 12.02 for now
